Zincseed Garden is more than just my farm. It’s an experiment of annuals and perennials, bushes and trees, vines and twines. It’s a space where art and ecology meet, coming from trial and error, observation, instinct, and a willingness to let go.
Designed and planted over many years, it is a work in progress, reflecting my never-ending quest for plant knowledge that is a chase for an aesthetic that is comforting and beautiful. Inspired by a combination of chaos and order, it is designed to be an ever-revolving festival of flowers.
Rather than creating a rigid planting plan, I work from lists and inspirational themes, assembling species that align with my vision and speak to me and my customers.
These experimental blooms, wild variables, unusual species, and botanical trials are what I want to share with you! Come see me at the Independence Farmer’s Market Friday mornings 9-1 (last Friday of the month is an evening market). Call me, beep me, email me, whatever makes you the most comfortable.
